Back up media & pictures

From computer - PC

1. Connect USB cable to the Gear, then to a computer.
2. On the computer, click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
3. Navigate to the desired files on your device.
4. Drag and drop the files into the desired computer folder(s).
5. When finished, safely disconnect the Gear from the computer.

From computer - Mac

1. Navigate to samsung.com/kies on the computer.
2. Follow the prompts to download the Kies software.
3. Connect USB cable to the Gear, then to a computer.
4. On the computer, open Kies.
5. Inside Kies, click the Back up tab.
6. Select the Music and Photo check boxes.
7. To to back up all files, check the Select all items check box.
8. Click Backup.
9. Safely disconnect the Gear from the computer.

Restore media & pictures

From computer - PC

1. Connect USB cable to the Gear, then to a computer.
