Quicken For Mac 2019 Review

Dec 21, 2016  Quicken 2019 for Mac adds some new improvements that might actually sway Mac users of other personal finance software to give Quicken a try. Though it is still not as feature-rich as its Windows counterpart. The primary motivator for using this version is the Bill Pay feature.

• I just signed up to a subscription yesterday and upgraded from my 2017 copy. I am running on a Mac. This is unbelievably slow as compared to 2017.

• If you haven't doneso already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone and requesthelp. Let them do a screen share sessionwith you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the natureof the problem and to figure out how to fix it.

• Also, if you haven't done so yet, try restarting your Mac. Sounds basic, I know, but it sometimes cures the unexplainable probems.
  In general, I can say that Quicken Mac 2019 does not run slower than Quicken 2017 (and some things are actually faster). And that's true even on older Macs, in my experience. So there's something unique to your setting that's causing this problem.
  If you want to explore other troubleshooting things to try..
  (In case something's wrong with your Quicken application) Re-download the Quicken application from Quicken.com, toss the one in your Applications folder, and reinstall.
  (In case something went wrong with your Quicken data file update to Quicken 2019). Make a copy of your latest Quicken 2017 data file (the latest backup or copy before you updgraded to Quicken 2019), and allow Quicken 2019 to open that file and update your database.
